Because of its big business and banking draw, Frankfurt hosts thousands of international travellers per annum, most of whom arrive through its airport, which is the third largest and Europe that see over a whopping 57 million passengers per year pass through its gates, making it one of the busiest and most-used in the world - it comes as no surprise then, that the airport is the region's biggest employer.
The high-flying modernity of Mainhattan is juxtaposed by Frankurt's, charming and traditional old town, which is almost quaint and village-like with its neat taverns, cafes and traditional restaurants.
