Language Study Holidays for teenagers in Berlin
FriLingue welcomes you to the third largest city in Europe! Berlin is a cultural and artistic metropolis with hundreds of museums, theaters and libraries. Every year several thousand tourists flock to the historic capital not only to take a trip down memory lane, but also to taste the trendy style of the city.
Our partner school in Berlin is located in the Mitte district, in the center of the city: the Reichstag and the Brandenburg Gate are only 15 minutes’ walk from the school. It was established in 1991, and has ever since hosted an impressive number of students from all around the world.
During the summer, the school organizes a language stay in a comfortable hotel, where teenagers (from 14 to 17) have classes in groups of 15 students maximum and can enjoy an enthusiastic program of activities: they will explore the city, but also play sports and have fun during the thematic evenings!

In a youth hotel (the classes take place in the same building as the one the students are sleeping in), in 4 bed rooms.

Program of 2 weeks minimum
The participants sleep, eat and learn in the A&O Hauptbahnhof Hotel, where only children and teenagers stay during the summer. Students are always under the surveillance of a member of the school’s team who can at every moment answer to their questions and assist them if necessary.
Basic accommodation is on a 4-beds room, with a private shower and toilets.
The students will be served 3 meals a day. During the weekend, since they go on an excursion, they receive a lunch box.
There is a washing machine in the building if necessary.

This is a sample programme. Activities and excursions can vary significantly depending on the weather, or other factors that are beyond our control.
During these two weeks, teenagers will have time to explore the city with members of the school’s team. They will visit a nuclear bomb shelter (“The Story of Berlin“), the cathedral, museums, go on a boat trip on the Spree river…
Every week-end, they’ll leave the capital to discover Dresden, Potzdam, Leipzig…
And in the evening, a social program is organized by the school: sports, table games, disco and many more!
Tennis lessons are also available (for an extra cost) as well as football training.
Transfer from the airport
The airport transfer is not included in the price. The price for different airport transfer options can be found in the extras section of the booking form.
Arrival at Tegel (TXL) or Schönefeld Airport (SKF)
- To benefit from the transfer, you must land on Sunday and take off on Saturday between 9am and 6pm.
- If your arrival and / or departure are outside these hours please consult the extras for additional fees.
