In this camp, friLingue helps you explore the best that Southern California has to offer, all while improving your English skills with that bubbly California flare! From the beaches, to theme parks and the culture spots, this programme guarantees to give you more than just a taste of the USA’s most famous state.
So, what will you get upto?
During your 3 weeks in Southern California, you’re gonna see everything that the movies & TV shows have had you dreaming about: you’ll visit the stars in Beverly Hills, before becoming a star yourself down in Hollywood; you’ll ride the rollercoasters at Disneyland and Universal Studios; visit Downtown LA, Old Town Pasadena and much, much more!
If you’re lucky enough to be coming during the summer season, you’ll also be offered the chance to enjoy MLB baseball game as well as a beach tip or two!

Camp location & accommodation
The camp is based in the Citrus College campus, located just minutes away from Downtown LA in the delightful suburb of Glendora.
Students are accommodated in reputable and carefully chosen American host families, so you won’t just be exploring Southern California, you’ll become a part of the Californian family lifestyle! You’ll be housed in a twin room with another student and the family will provide you with breakfast and dinner on weekdays, breakfast on Saturdays and three meals on Sundays.

That’s exactly why this camp includes 18 English lessons each week with professional and highly trained American English teachers. Class groups consist of less than 20 students and are all made-up according to both age and proficiency level. Weekly sports activities are also offered on campus.

That’s exactly why this camp includes 18 hours of English lessons each week with professional and highly trained American English teachers. Class groups consist of less than 20 students and are all made-up according to both age and proficiency level. Weekly sports activities are also offered on campus. Included in the price: 18 lessons of English per week Use of college computer lab and library. Weekly sports and activities on campus. T-shirt, textbooks, and certificate of completion. Accommodation is in a twin room and includes breakfast and dinner on weekdays, breakfast on Saturdays, and three meals on Sundays. You’ll be housed in a twin room with another student and the family will provide you with breakfast and dinner on weekdays, breakfast on Saturdays and three meals on Sundays. At lunch time, participants can purchase tickets for the campus' cafeteria and eat on the spot.
All families live within 15-20 minutes drive from the college. Families will their drive students to and from the college or we will provide a shuttle bus service.

Arrivals/Departure
The school offers FREE transfers to and from LAX Airport!
Students can arrive at any time on the Sunday and still benefit from the included transfer.
Students departing after 5pm on the Saturday will incur an additional housing cost of $35.
