Arrivals and Departures in Switzerland

ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES / FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE CAMP AND BACK

Participants arriving by plane from another country can be awaited for in a Swiss Airport by a member of our team and safely taken to the Swiss Camp they have chosen.

At the end of their stay, they are accompanied to the airport by a member of our team who will make sure that the plane is on time, that the staff of the airplane company is taking care of children who have reserved a service for minors travelling alone, etc.

This service has a cost (you can find details in the "Extra" section for each camp's description).

Please don't hesitate to communicate us the details of the flight (as soon as possible) so that we can organize the pick-up at the airport or make sure that the young participants have all the information they need if they are coming by themselves. Our office and our camp-leaders will make sure that children and teenagers have a nice time, in security and without any stress, during their whole stay in Switzerland - from the moment they land at the airport until the take-off at the end of their stay.

Accompanied train ride from Zurich

Costs:
80 CHF per way (to Liddes)
60 CHF per way (to Estavayer or Schwarzsee)
40 CHF per way (to Braunwald)
The train ticket is already included in the price. If you have a general abonnement (GA), the price is 25 CHF per way. Please note that for any late change (10 days before the camps or less) after booking this service (cancellation or other destination), friLingue will have to charge administration fees (40 CHF).

Accompanied train ride from Bern

Costs:
60 CHF per way (to Braunwald or Liddes)
40 CHF per way (to Estavayer or Schwarzsee)
The train ticket is already included in the price. If you have a general abonnement (GA), the price is 20 CHF per way. Please note that for any late change (10 days before the camps or less) after booking this service (cancellation or other destination), friLingue will have to charge administration fees (40 CHF).

Arrival: Sunday until 18h
Departure: you have the following choices:

  • Departure on Friday after the lunch (at whatever time after 2pm)
  • Departure Saturday morning (around 9am)
  • Departure on Saturday afternoon after the excursion (around 4pm)

You must inform us of the details of your departure by Wednesday at the latest.

Arrival by train
Attention: We recommend that you book the accompagniying service for the journey train. The following information is for young people who wish to travel by train alone. Please send an e-mail to info@frilingue.com 

  1. Braunwald
    Train station "Linthal Braunwaldbahn" around 5 pm.
    At 17:25 we will take the funicular up to Braunwald together.
    It is of course also possible to get directly to the camp. Please note that then you can use the funicular alone.
    ATTENTION: The ticket for the funicular (from Linthal to Braunwald) can be bought on site. If you have a GA, you do not need a ticket.

  2. Liddes Saint Bernard 
    "Liddes" bus stop at 6pm
    We will pick you up at the bus station.

  3. Estavayer
    If you arrive at the train station between 4.30 - 5.15pm, we will come and pick you up. 

  4. Schwarzsee Bilingual & English Camp
    Fribourg - Schwarzsee Campus
    Fribourg departure: 4.03pm
    Schwarzsee Campus arrival 4.57pm
    We will pick you up at the bus station.
